The more than 150 Jones-Harrison volunteers, or associates, play a significant role here every day. They spend time with residents and assist staff witheveryday tasks, special projects and events.

Volunteer individually or form a group consisting of friends, co-workers or church members. We also have a Junior Program, which is great way for younger people to build fascinating relationships. Types of Volunteers
We want your experience as a volunteer to be rewarding, so you are free to choose the position you would enjoy. That may be in a long-term or short-term role, for as many hours as you’d choose to spend each month. We have two overall categories of volunteers:

• Participate in our mission of service to the aging
• Contribute to the greater community in which we reside
• Learn about the aging process and expand your understanding of aging issues
• Support the work of an esteemed not-for-profit organization
• Meet new and interesting people
• Experience a new satisfaction, different from everyday employment
• Receive a free membership to Wellness Center at Jones-Harrison (if you volunteer 20 hours/month). This includes use of our fitness center and warm water therapy pool!
• Receive a copy of our newsletter and invitations to special events
