People with memory
loss often experience a feeling of confusion and
anxiety as their surroundings all seem to blend
together. In fact, many even have difficulty
remembering they must take one right turn, then
a left, to reach their room. Every doorway looks
the same. Hallways dead-end. No way leads home.
That’s why
Jones-Harrison created neighborhoods. We
designed
five
distinct neighborhoods with bright murals
and unique environments. Art is touchable,
usable, moveable and familiar. Each neighborhood
has a Family Greatroom with a functioning
kitchen and all meals are served there everyday.
Each and every aspect gives residents a feeling
of comfort and familiarity, and most of all, the
sense of home.

Memorable
and Comfortable Just as it is our
mission to help each resident feel comfortable
in their new neighborhood, it is also our goal
to help them feel comfortable with their
choices. That’s why residents in our Memory Loss
Neighborhoods have flexibility throughout their
day.
Residents can rise at their leisure and
choose from the different therapeutic activities
provided in each great room. A community laundry
room is centrally located so residents and
family can choose to do their own laundry
together. Residents can help set the table if
they like, casually stroll through the
four-season Promenade porch and chat with other
residents. It’s all up to them.
A memorable, comfortable home is what we’re
all about!
Our therapy services also help with memory
care. Few residences can match the therapy
services offered at Jones-Harrison. Follow these
