Songs, Jokes and Some Serenading

To wind up our celebration of Older Americans Month, staff, residents and family helped present a Variety Show – no talent required but absolutely displayed!  We had songs from tuneful residents and our Chaplain as well as our own Golden Tones ensemble, piano and violin pieces from our talented music therapists, and a couple of wonderful vaudeville acts by our therapeutic recreation team or the Front Porch Knitters for the show and our own “Grandma Maggie and Granddaughter Barb” who shared some oldies but goodies.  Thanks to everyone who took part in this fun event!

Roger starts us off with the Star Spangled Banner.

Chaplain Monica and Anne from Assisted Living serenade the crowd.

Grandma Maggie and “Granddaughter” Barb have some knock-knock jokes to share.

The Golden Tones of Jones-Harrison sing some Springtime songs.
