Dear Family and Friends,
We hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! This week is a good week to keep celebrating too! We have no new cases of COVID-19 in our staff or residents on the campus. We are continuing to test weekly though. There are still four people in our isolation unit at the care center.
All the staff want to say thank you to our families and friends who are visiting outside and virtually. We can see the faces of our residents light up and we hear all the wonderful laughter. Thank you for following our guidelines and working to ensure the health of our residents.
Jones-Harrison heard back from our infection control survey and we had two areas to improve on. One is to create a better system for tracking staff screenings when they enter the building. We will be working to purchase thermal temperature scanners to help screen staff more efficiently. The second area is continued training on cleaning for better infection control. We currently have cleaning measures in place, but we will beef up with more education and auditing for compliance. Overall, we got good feedback and we will continue to work to improve our current systems.
Thank you for your support and have a great weekend!
