Legacy of Care celebrates Jones-Harrison’s continued commitment to our guiding principles: compassion inclusivity, and collaboration. At our founding in 1888, Jones-Harrison offered a safe haven for the ageing poor. Over 130 years later, we continue to be on the forefront of change through innovative programs and services that cultivate the highest quality continuum of care. Our Spring reception celebrates the storied lives of Jones-Harrison residents, the resiliency and dedication of our staff, and the future where demand for senior support services is projected to grow exponentially.
This fundraiser—which promises to be a moving, intimate reception convening Jones-Harrison Residence philanthropic supporters, partners, neighbors, and families—will include an amazing hors d’oeuvres reception with a silent auction, games, and program.

Jones-Harrison Residence takes the health and safety of our residence and staff very seriously. We are closely following the development of COVID-19 and will make changes to protocols as needed. We are reviewing options for virtual participation in the event. Registered guests will be informed of final protocol prior to the event.

Legacy of Care will support the following programs and services that help our residents thrive and age with dignity:
Health and Wellness
We offer a wide variety of accessible amenities and enriching activities to promote health and wellness. Currently, we are raising funds to upgrade the Wasie Wellness Center to include handicap accessible fitness equipment for those who use assistive devices such as wheel chairs.
Skilled Nursing and Specialized Care
Support the creation and installation of a Snoezelen Room, a sensory therapy environment, for residents with dementia and advanced Alzheimer’s.
Arts and Culture
For 15 years, we have excelled in providing enriching art programming which builds community and improves quality of life. Donations support artists and technological upgrades that bring dance, music, pottery, painting, writing, and drawing to residents on a weekly schedule.

This celebratory reception is a great opportunity for your organization to demonstrate support and play a role in defining the next generation of care for seniors. During the event, we will host games and an auction to raise funds to support our gap funding needs. We have invited staff, volunteers, family members, and residents to share their Jones-Harrison experiences.
