2021 is the year of hope and new beginnings. To start off this month, we had the pleasure of hosting Gov. Tim Walz. He visited Jones-Harrison to discuss COVID-19 and how Minnesota senior homes are seeing cases dramatically decline. According to a recent article published by Star Tribune, “The weekly count of coronavirus cases in long-term care has plunged 90% from mid-November to the last week in January.” We are preparing for the next round of vaccinations at Jones-Harrison while developing exciting projects our residents will enjoy.
We are thrilled to announce our newest innovation—a virtual arts program that enables residents to enjoy musical concerts, performances, and other creative arts workshops in engaging, safe settings. With this, residents can be creative, interact with people outside Jones-Harrison, and it gives them a sense of purpose.
Stay connected with us to learn how residents are enjoying our virtual arts programs and other projects at Jones-Harrison!
